Engineering
Services
From conceptual BIM models to fabrication-ready documentation — we deliver complete structural steel engineering services with precision, speed, and zero-tolerance accuracy.
Complete shop drawings, erection plans, and general arrangement drawings produced to AISC, AS/NZS 1554, BS 5950, and Eurocode 3 standards. Every drawing package is checked for constructability and reviewed against the engineering model before release. We cover all structural member types — columns, beams, bracing, portals, purlins, and girts — with full connection detail callouts, weld symbols, and bolt specifications.
Precision parametric 3D structural models using Tekla Structures and Autodesk Revit. Our models are built to LOD 350–400 and support full clash detection with architectural and MEP disciplines. All models are delivered with IFC and CIS/2 exports for open BIM coordination. Quantity take-offs, material schedules, and piece mark lists are extracted directly from the model to ensure 100% accuracy across all deliverables.
Rigorous engineering of moment connections, shear connections, base plates, splice plates, gusset plates, and fin plate connections. Each connection is designed from first principles using code-compliant software, with supporting engineering calculations provided. We coordinate closely with the SER to ensure all connection forces are correctly interpreted and that fabrication detailing reflects the design intent without ambiguity.
NC files, DSTV/NC1 data, CNC cutting data, and material lists generated directly from the certified 3D model. This eliminates manual data re-entry at the fabrication stage and significantly reduces the risk of dimensional errors. We support full shop integration with leading fabrication management systems. Piece mark schedules, paint and surface treatment schedules, and shipping lists are all produced as part of the fabrication documentation package.
Specialised detailing for pipe racks, conveyor structures, overhead crane runway beams, equipment platforms, mezzanine floors, industrial stair towers, and heavy industrial steelwork for process and manufacturing facilities. We understand the critical tolerances and load path requirements of industrial structures and build these considerations into every detail we produce.
Complete detailing for multi-level commercial, residential, mixed-use, and institutional steel frame structures. This includes structural floor systems (composite, stub girder, open web joists), stair and balustrade assemblies, façade framing, curtain wall support steelwork, and rooftop plant support structures. We produce erection sequences, temporary works provisions, and lifting lug details where required.
Rapid, responsive RFI management and change order processing throughout the construction phase. We maintain live models and drawing registers that are updated in real-time. Revision clouds are clearly marked, revision histories are maintained, and all affected drawings are re-issued within agreed turnaround times. Our engineers are available for direct communication with site teams and fabricators to resolve technical queries efficiently.
The Fabri-Tech Advantage
01. Zero-Tolerance Accuracy
We produce clash-free 3D models with 100% precision. By identifying constructability issues in the virtual environment, we eliminate incredibly costly rework and delays on the actual job site.
02. Rapid Turnaround
Our dedicated engineering teams are calibrated for speed without sacrificing quality. Predictable scheduling and continuous coordination mean your fabrication timeline is never compromised.
03. End-to-End Coordination
We embed within your project ecosystem, seamlessly coordinating between structural engineers, fabricators, and erectors to guarantee swift RFI resolution and flawless execution.

How We
Deliver
Every Fabri-Tech engagement follows a structured four-phase workflow designed to eliminate ambiguity and maximise fabricator confidence.
We begin by reviewing all design documents — GA drawings, structural calculations, specifications, and geotechnical reports — to establish a clear understanding of scope, deliverables, and timelines.
Our engineers build precise 3D models in Tekla Structures or SDS/2, coordinating with architectural, mechanical, and civil disciplines to resolve clashes before fabrication begins.
Every drawing undergoes independent peer review against design documents, project specifications, and applicable codes. Our QA protocol catches errors before they reach the shop floor.
We issue fabrication-ready packages with shop drawings, erection plans, material lists, and NC files. Post-issue, we remain available for RFIs, revisions, and site coordination throughout erection.
